HOPSports leadership has over twenty years experience in training elementary, middle and high school students, professional athletes, Olympians, and Hollywood celebrities with cutting-edge training concepts.
HOPSports is a multimedia instructional tool for physical education teachers, delivered through Digital Video Recorder (Dm) technology. The format provides 70 fitness lesson plans (more than enough for two years of programming) that meet state and national standards. The HOPSports system focuses on fitness and health-related issues such as good nutrition, weight management, anti-smoking, and anti-violence.
The HOPSports system follows the procedures of NASPE (National Association for Sport and Physical Education). NASPE sets the guidelines for national physical education (P.E.) standards. Each lesson plan of HOPSports is correlated with the national standards and is consistent with the essential skills that all children need in order to maintain a physically active and healthy lifestyle. Sports, fitness, and health curricula are delivered through the multi-media system and complemented with direct instruction by highly-qualified physical education teachers. The content is customized to fit the developmental needs of elementary and middle school-aged students involving competency in motor skills and movement patterns that are fun yet challenging.
HOPSports uses the expertise of professional organizations and their players to teach the fundamentals of sport-specific curriculum. The Charitabulls Foundation of the Chicago Bulls along with NBA icon Scottie Pippen, the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation and Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation with baseball Hall of Fame infielder Cal Ripken, Jr. are among the powerhouses who have aligned with HOPSports.
The HOPSports Training System is used in schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, family-oriented fitness centers, youth authority facilities and community parks and recreation programs. The program lessons and activities will form the foundation for current and future generations to support a society in which all individuals are physically educated. In utilizing the system, children not only improve their health, but also learn to have the confidence to participate in activities for life.

The WaterRower's WaterFlywheel design was patented in 1988 by its inventor, John Duke. John had been an oarsman since his high school days and continued on with the sport when he went to study at Yale. With commitment and dedication he pursued his passion, achieving the sports highest accolade, membership of the US National team. In 1984 John left his position as a Naval Architect to pursue his secondary love, design. John focused on devising a land based rowing training device. The result was the WaterRower.
